Departmental medical faculties are involved in running the Clinical Pharmacology OPD service on every Tuesdays and Fridays at usual OPD hours. Faculties are also engaged in clinical pharmacological consultation on referral for indoor admitted patients. Department is also running Cardiac Autonomic Neurofunction testing pharmacodynamic laboratory service for patient care.

Adverse Drug Reaction(ADR) Monitoring Centre: Under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India , Ministry of Health, Government of India)-ADR reports are collected from different clinical departments of this institute and other different government and private hospitals as well as from private clinics. These ADR reports are analysed and processed to CDSCO in a scheduled format from time to time. This programme was launched on July 16th, 2010, and this Centre has been an active AMC since its inception.
